Please read carefully the terms and conditions of use of the Site, which establish the rules you must follow when accessing and using the information available on the www.ontour.ro Site. If the information provided is not accurate or complete, On Tour reserves the right to refuse to respond to your request.

Terms of Use of the Site

On Tour guarantees you permission to use this Site subject to the following Terms of Use:

Terms and Conditions for Group Tours

Within group tours, the group coordinator has the right to adjust the tour program per day, including the order in which tourist attractions are visited, depending on objective factors, such as unfavorable weather conditions, without affecting the general structure of the program. On Tour does not assume responsibility for potential changes in the daily program or flight schedules operated by airlines or for program changes caused by them.

We, as an agency, cannot be held responsible for adjusting the tourist program in situations where this is due to force majeure circumstances or unforeseen events that neither the agency nor the service providers could anticipate or avoid. These circumstances may include delays in air traffic, airport or schedule changes due to political events, strikes or natural disasters. In such situations, the agency will make significant efforts to manage the situation, but cannot be held responsible for additional related costs. On Tour is not liable for situations in which customs or airport authorities refuse to board the tourist or do not grant him/her permission to enter or exit a country, and is not to blame for sums generated by these situations.

Furthermore, On Tour is not responsible for the loss of luggage or personal belongings of the tourist, regardless of the reason. For travelers under 18 years old who travel alone or with only one parent, it is necessary to present to the customs authorities a notarized agreement from both parents or the parent who is not accompanying them, as the case may be. The star classification of accommodation units complies with the official standards established by the respective countries' relevant ministries. Room assignment at the hotel is done at the reception, and any issues related to the location or appearance of the room can be resolved directly with the hotel staff, assisted by the agency's representative.

Mandatory documents for purchasing a tour package include:

  • A copy of the passport (the passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end of the trip).
  • A copy of the identity card.
  • Home address (if different from that on the identity card).
  • Valid phone number.
  • Email address.
  • Correspondence address (where travel documents will be sent).

Payment Terms and Conditions

In the absence of other specifications, the following payment terms apply:

  • For international flights: Full payment is made at the time of ticket issuance.
  • For ground services: 50% is paid upon booking confirmation and 50% 60 days before the departure date.
  • For requests less than 60 days before the departure date: Full payment is made on the booking date.

Invoicing of services will be done in EUR, USD or RON, and payment for services will be made in accordance with the invoices issued by On Tour, at the agency's bank exchange rate, which is stated on the payment document. Payments can be made by bank transfer, payment order, credit/debit card or in cash, provided that the amount does not exceed 10,000 RON for individual customers and 5,000 RON for legal entity customers.

Cancellation Conditions and Penalties

Details regarding the cancellation conditions of a tourist package, as well as the amount of penalties, are specified in detail in Annex 1 to the contract concluded with the Tourist at the time of purchasing the package. Applied penalties can amount to up to 100% of the value of the tourist package.

Modification of Terms and Conditions

On Tour reserves the right to modify the provisions of the Terms and Conditions at any time and in any way, without prior notice and without being obliged to fulfill any formality towards the Users. Any modification is considered unconditionally and fully accepted by the Users of the Site by their simple use of it. If you do not agree with any modification, you are obliged to immediately stop accessing the Site and/or using On Tour services in any way.

Applicable Law. Disputes

The rights and obligations of the Site Users, as provided in the Terms and Conditions, as well as all legal effects generated by these Terms and Conditions, will be interpreted and regulated in accordance with the current Romanian legislation. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions will be resolved primarily amicably. If this is not possible, recourse will be made to the courts, with jurisdiction falling to the court in the territorial area of Baia Mare municipality.
