Detailed itinerary
8 days of adventure, organized step by step

We meet the group leader at 11:00 AM at Cluj-Napoca International Airport and prepare for our departure to Norway. We fly directly to Oslo, and after landing, we head west of the country, transferring to the fjord area.
The journey to Stavanger takes place with small breaks for relaxation along the way, without stops for tourist attractions on this day, so that we can reach our destination as efficiently as possible. We arrive in Stavanger around 11:00 PM, check into our hotel, and retire for rest.
A busy day follows, so the first evening is dedicated to settling in and recovering after the journey.
After breakfast, the day is dedicated to the city of Stavanger and the Lysefjord area. The program is structured so that each participant can choose their own pace: either free time to explore the city, or a panoramic experience on the fjord, or the option of a full-day excursion that includes a hike to the Preikestolen cliff and a panoramic crossing on Lysefjord of approximately one hour.
Our recommendation for a complete experience of the area is the one-day option to Preikestolen, followed by the fjord crossing, as it offers two different perspectives on the same landscape. However, this option requires good physical condition, as it is a hike of approximately 6 hours in total (approximately 8 km round trip), with easy to moderate difficulty.
The optional full-day excursion includes:
✓ Transfer Stavanger – Preikestolen trailhead
✓ Preikestolen hike (approx. 6 hours total, 8 km round trip)
✓ Panoramic ferry on Lysefjord (approx. 1 hour)
✓ Stop at Høllesli Viewpoint
Cost: 145€/ Person
We cross western Norway on a day dedicated to the waterfalls and mountain landscapes of the Hardanger region. We travel along the scenic FV520 route and make stops at some of the
most famous waterfalls in the area, in a balanced program between panoramic travel and specific visits. The day ends in the Odda area.
At the end of the day, we stay in a 4-star hotel located right on the shore of the Hardanger Fjord, where we can relax in the spa area, with hot water pools and a sauna.
We continue exploring the Hardanger region with a stop at Vøringfossen, one of Norway's most impressive waterfalls, then we head towards Steinsdalsfossen, where we can observe the waterfall up close. In the afternoon we arrive in Bergen, where we discover the city center on a walking tour that includes a funicular ride to the panoramic viewpoint above the city. The day ends in Bergen, in an urban atmosphere specific to the Norwegian west coast.
We continue our journey through western Norway with a day dedicated to the UNESCO fjords and some of the most spectacular scenic routes in the country. We combine scenic travel with iconic experiences such as the Nærøyfjord cruise and the panoramic Flåm railway, followed by alpine viewpoints and cultural stops. The day ends in the Tyinkrysset mountain area, in a peaceful natural setting.
The day is dedicated to the alpine area of Western Norway, where we combine glacial landscapes with panoramic views of the fjords. We reach the Briksdal Glacier, ascend with the Loen Skylift for ample views of the region, and continue the route towards Geiranger, crossing one of the most spectacular fjord sectors in Norway.
The day is dedicated to panoramic views of Geirangerfjord and one of the most spectacular mountain roads in Norway. We visit the main viewpoints in the area, then drive along the famous Trollstigen, with its dramatic winding roads and impressive alpine views. The route continues towards Ålesund, where we end the day in an urban setting typical of the west coast.
We wake up early and leave the hotel around 04:00 for the transfer to Ålesund airport. The domestic flight to Oslo is scheduled for 06:00, with landing in
the capital of Norway around 07:00.
After collecting our luggage, we head to the city center for a walking tour of approximately three hours. We discover the Oslo Opera House, with its modern architecture and
the possibility to climb onto the roof for a perspective over the fjord, we continue on the main street Karl Johans gate and arrive in the area of the Royal Palace and the Parliament. The tour offers a balanced view of contemporary Oslo, combining modern areas with the historical landmarks of the capital.
Around noon we return to the airport for the return flight home, scheduled for 15:20, thus concluding the tour through the fjords and spectacular landscapes
of Norway.
